Tuesday 9/7

Today I drove from Winnemucca to Arches National Park stopping only for gas, lunch in Orem at Carrabba’s (Yum!) WM for fresh drinking water and a new memory card for the camera and I took a quick 20 minute nap in a mountain rest area before taking on the last 150 miles. The 575 mile trip would have been just as boring as it sounds had it not been for skirting a rainstorm during the last leg which resulted in a spectacular rainbow and, after arriving at my remote campsite, seeing a perfectly clear sky allowing me to take some wonderful star shots with my little camera.
