Left Rifle Gap and drove to Grand Junction where I got the windshield repaired. Set up camp in Colorado National Monument and had the afternoon to hike and shoot photo's. YAY!!

Monument Valley

Am now camped at a KOA in Provo, Utah. Had a new experience for me in Utah- rain!! Drove through rain as I skirted the canyonlands and again near the summit of the Wasach range. Stocked up at a couple of grocery stores and am nearly ready to go to the Playa. Got laundry done and discovered a Carrabba's Italian Grill in Orem where I will stop for lunch on my way back from the playa on my way to Arches National Park next week. There is a wonderful breeze off of Utah Lake and I'm just hanging out after packing everything away. A quick shower in the morning and then on to Winnemucca. It's so much fun to type!!
